what size tires do we need?

we have some 18x8 with a 48 offset wheels and we want to know what size tire we should run? we are thinking 215/40/18

215/45/18
215 is about 8 1/2 inches so that = no stretch lol.

Tires stretch differently depending on brand. For example, Falken 512's/912's tend to run smaller. But I have 225/40's on an 18x8, and there is no stretch. But if I put 215's on it, there would be slight stretch.

Either way you want a 40 sidewall to maintain the correct diameter to keep the speedo/odo accurate.

I had some general exclaim uhp 225/40/18 but I cant find them anywhere anymore. Any suggestions or a place to get some affordable tires?

better to buy local. You can always order from tirerack but that's up to you..

225/40/18's or 215/40's close to stock rolling diameter, if you have an americas tires or discount tire go there guaranteed lowest prices anywhere, if you want a good tire all around get the continental DWS's, performance tire Bridgestone kdw's amazing traction in the wet etc.

its cheaper for me to buy there and then get them balaced local
usally save around 50 buck
