so does anyone have any recommendations for which is the best kit to use? i heard nitrous express was one of the better kits.

a lot of that is opinion. i have NX and have had no problems.
zex also makes a great kit, and its a little more fail-safe than NX.
NX nozzles combust fuel better than other brands, but you shouldn't have any problems with puddling with a smaller shot (by smaller i mean relatively, like <150hp) anyways so whether or not that matters is a up to you anyways.
