Hey guys,

Been on this website on and off. Figured I'd introduce myself and my ride. Name's John, I reside in Rockland County, New York, about 30 minutes from New York City.

Non the less. Here's my ride.

My 1999 Honda Accord LX 4 Cyl ULEV motor

Bought it in 2014 with 55,000 miles on the clock. It use to be a collision shop vehicle that they would drive customers around in. And use to be a salvaged title. Bought it and since then haven't looked back.

Has fresh paint, and no rust what so ever. The cloth interior has no stains or spots what so ever.

Here's a bit of the mods I did in detail.
I am an extremist when it comes to doing things right and making it look like it was installed from factory.

Exterior Mods
Rear trunk Spoiler installed
Depo black housing headlights (apparently rare?)
Fog Light Install
Tints (20% all around, 5% rear window)
Black Painted Calipers, and Rear Drum Covers
Tail lights Red out, turn signals and reverse lights red out.

Interior Mods
Alpine CD/USB Dash Radio
Alpine Front Speakers Type S with Tweeters (installed where mirrors bolt up)
Alpine Rear Speakers Type E
Alpine Amp with Alpine Type S 12in Subwoofer in trunk.
Integra front seat headrests.
LED courtesy lights.

Performance Mods
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Magnaflow High Flow Cat
Tein Street Basis Coilovers
Drag 33's running Bridgestone Potenzas RE970as's Tires
Air Box Delete
K&N Air Filter
Ingalls Upper control arms with camber adjustment
NGK iridium spark plugs
Duralast Gold Series Brake Pads

I plan to return this car to stock now. Or see if I can swap most of my stuff over. And I'm currently searching around for a 6th Gen V6 Coupe EX-L. I plan to do a type S j32a2 motor swap along with a 6 speed manual. I've never done a motor swap before but I plan to do big things with a car like that. I idolize RedRyder and puzzlemaster94 so seeing their builds inspired me to sort out a V6 coupe EXL and swap it.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think!

Welcome. Very clean ride you have. 55k miles awesome. Looking forward to what you get next

Thank's guys! Appreciate the welcome! Next mod I'll do is fender side markers.

Currently shopping around for a decent high mileage v6 ex coupe, when I get back from vacation I'll be going to various dealers to get the best prices. And searching for a salvaged CL-Type S. Do a heart transplant. Need to do more homework first and see what the best and least costly options.

Anybody can point me to a good thread for a write up of this swap would be much appreciated! :favorites13:

The search function is your best case in terms of the J32 swap. There are countless threads regarding various member's J32 swaps. I've listed 5 of the most detailed threads, probably missed a ton of others, so definitely search the topic. Hope this helps!

How did you get your insurance company to insure a salvaged title car? Most (if not all) won't.
