a t28 will spool fast, A GT2871R can make 400whp and will spool fast but most people wont spend that kinda loot on it. a T28 will not make power and fall off to fast on top, because of such a big motor a small turbo cannot supply enough air. which in turn will lead to needing higher boost levels, and by high i meen 17+psi, to make the power a t3 can make at 10. MY T3 is at full boost before 2800rpms, and makes power to redline, and still climbs, if i could rev higher, i could make more power, etc etc.

Re: Fastest 6th gen

Took my v6 coupe to the drag strip to see what I could do, and pulled off a 16.2 1/4 mile at 82.3mph. I had a bad reaction the and the launch sucked. Anyone know of a better way to send it down the line a little quicker? I just want 15s... sadly though its an automatic

Acceleration = Force/Mass

Translation, more power, and less weight, gives you better acceleration and lower 1/4 mile times.

If you just wanna be running in the 15s, then better technique and tires may get you there.

Lower the tire pressure
when staged, hold brake and get RPM's up to 2500.
Right at the 3rd yellow, release brake and apply 80% throttle (full throttle will cause wheen spin or wheel hop)
When at 5000RPM's apply full throttle

****ty 60-foots all day, couldn't hook up. Trap speed is good for low 12's if I can get off the line faster.
