Ok, I'm getting my car painted next week by a good friend of mine. I don't want to go back to the pearl/metallic black so my options are:

Deep Gloss Black (VW/BMW type)
Artic White (BMW 3 series 04-05) looks a bit vintage/navajo tone
or Charcoal Grey/Pewter like non-metallic

I'll be using chroma-base topped off with PPG clear.

Your suggestion will be appreciated!

Consider my theme: My rims have been Powder Coated Satin Black w/ Red anodized lugnuts and car features Red Accents throughout: calipers, emblems, coilovers, swaybars, strut bar, engine bay all have red & black in them. I'll try to upload an updated pic tomorrow.

HERE'S THE RESULTS: PPG - TITAN GREY METALLIC (06' PORSCHE 911) & PPG CLEAR.

NEW MODS: Motegi 19" Traklites, Nitto 555's, Stop-Tech F & R Rotors, VIS Carbon Hood and new F & R Lighting Lenses.

Thanks!

LOL... it's kind of a trade off. His son needs some transmission work on a Blazer so I figure worth at least $2,000 on my end; but since he's my dad's best friend, he's not adding a dime extra. I believe a job like this he'd charge at least $3500 since my car does need some minor body repair, mostly small dings and a rear door ree-alignment. Thanks for voting!

My preference would be the pewter (that's the color I am going to paint my car if I decide not to be lazy and feel like painting door jams, etc.) or white, black cars show too much dirt. Do you plan on painting the engine bay also?
