the bore is different because the diameter of the 3.2 pistons is bigger then the stock bore of the 3.0 block. and like I said, hes gonna use the stock 3.0 crank

Okay... Do you know all the specific specs?
Bore, stroke, comp height, deck height, stroke, rod length, journal sizes, etc for both the 3.0 and the 3.2

can the stock sleeve be bored out that much bigger without damage?

Why....cant this machine shop figure this out?
Measure stock diameter of J30 pistons
Measure stock diameter of J32 pistons
Measure J30 block stock bore diameter.
Figure out the difference. Measure and make sure its within acceptable tolerances with all other . Get a micrometer, take some measurements, check OE specs/tolerances...etc...
