Hi guys i am new here and i love the look of the 6th Gen Accord!. I found a accord for 1k at a auction but they said the transmission is slipping 1st and 2nd. The car looks mint and engine is smooth when turning on the car. The problem is the transmission. I found a transmission in the junkyard with 160-180k on it with 3 month warranty for 500 dollar. I am wondering if i should change the torque converter and Transmission Cooler to fix the transmission fail that's been happening.
Also i am wondering what other transmission would be able to fit in the 2001 Honda accord 2d coup v6 3.0l. Is there a website i can go look at for more info on what fits and what do not. I know the 1998-2002 fit in them but what about the other years of gen like the 5th gen or 7th gen or Acura models and years. Thank you for reading and giving advise if anyone is reading!
