duplicating key

okay i lost one of my keys and now i am using the spare.. so where is the best place to duplicate my key besides the stealership... and if thats the only place, how much would it cost to get it duplicated?

oh i also heard that our keys have a special micro chip in it or someting which only allow us to use our honda keys only so it cant be duplicated anywhere else..

when i did it.. it was only like 10 bucks or something at the dealership... don't remember exactly though.

yea...cost a pretty penny...and they have to program it......u can get a regular spare...but that only unlocks the car...to get a spare that also starts/drive the car would be a little more expensive

Oh, I thought he just meant the key.. OP, are you talking about that alarm button thing?

Hmm.. yeah I think it was around 10-15 at Spirit Honda in El Monte. Don't count on it though.. trying real hard to remember lol.
