I currently have the civic fogs, I'm thinking about smoking them out. The thing that I'm wondering is that if i get 3k or maybe 12k will it show through the smoked fogs really well or would it be a little dimmed?

also, the high kelvin temperature the hid bulb, the lower the actual light output is, just for future reference.

Save the manuals
If you want to see anything using your fogs, don't use 12k. Put some 3k-5k in there and they will make sufficient light. The film should not hinder the output.
