hood latch

my hood latch has been broken for awhiiiiiiiiiiiiile now and my CF hood has been held down by only my hood pins, I wanna do a coupe bumper swap and am gonna get a coupe hood, what can I do to keep the hood latched if I don't wanna go the CF route and use h-pins???? any help would be appreciated

Clean the latch if its sludged up, otherwise grab a new one from a junkyard

its no longer there lol, the entire thing is gone broken off, I can juss get a new one from the junk? ill take pics to show juss to make sure, thank you guys
