um, 200amp is too big. I would use like a 30-50 amp. IIRC the stock alt only had an 80 amp output

i think its time for me to do the big 3 three. between the hids and my sound system,every time when the bass notes hit i see my instrument cluster dimming to the bass

I was referring to the battery to alternator ground ANL fuse

best thing to do would be to do a quick search on google to see what size to use then. depending on the wire size, there are limits on how much power can safely flow through it, otherwise you can start an electrical fire. if you're going to add in a fuse, just make sure its serving a purpose. a 200 amp fuse isn't going to do anything to protect 4 gauge wire or whatever you're using

I saw that 0 gauge wire can accept a max fuse size of 345 amps and 2/0 can accept 430 amps from here

so I might just use a 500 amp ANL fuse to be on the safe side

What is the fuse for?

I can't find any decent priced fuse holders for 1/0 gauge wires.

Oh, and can you use 2 gauge wire on the 0 gauge battery terminal slots? Will it fit?
