Need DIY guide to installing Keyless Entry

I recently bought a Bulldog Keyless Entry (Model KE1702) for my 2001 Honda Accord LX (no alarm system). I have looked everywhere on the internet, and can not find any information, apart from the wiring diagram. If anybody could help me with a quick guide, or any tips (such as locations of wires that I need) I would really appreciate it!

If you aren't familiar with what the bulldog site lists for color codes I would hand it off to a professional. Unlike a radio install where an aftermarket harness is involved, you will have to tap into the OEM wiring.

If you are dead set on doing it yourself most of the wiring is in the driver's side fuse panel with the exception of the dome light (If I rememeber correctly since I haven't touched my alarm wiring since 98!). It's in the fuse panel on the passenger side.

If you need a step by step guide to do this, I don't recommend that you attempt it yourself.

I also don't recommend that you use bulldog at all, but that's another conversation.

Pick 98-02 accord and it ^gives you a general idea of where to look for the wiring.

That said, I think you should leave it up to a professional to do the work. Fixing messed up electrical work after could be a headache and cost some $$$ for a pro to fix your mixups.
