Brand & Product Name: Clifford Matrix
Price paid and from where: Kit: $699 (paided $500/installed) with 2way Pager. Universal Auto Toys in Yonkers
Pros: Thieves know the "clifford chirp". Most of the times will bypass a car because its a clifford system.
Cons: Expensive
Final verdict: dont regret it, being a victim of theft and having $2000 in audio equipment stolen from my car 20 ft from the front door of my job in seconds. It's a must for any car with any kind of audio work.

Brand & Product Name: Scytek Astra 777 2 way pager/LCD system.
Price paid and from where:$65 shipped from sonicelectronics
Pros: 2 way pager, pretty good quality, spare remote, decent range.
Cons: pager remote battery died pretty quick, think a good lithium ion battery should extend battery life. False alarms sometimes.
Final verdict: I was pleasantly suprised at the quality of this alarm, not as good as the DEI alarms, but it is worth it for its price. The range is decent, and the alarm does its job. A little sensitive , but worth it. I recommend picking some piezo back up sirens and some louder horns, because our stock horns are not loud.

Brand & Product Name: Clifford Matrix RS3
Price paid and from where: Kit: $599 - Paid 170 + 160 installation (hook-up) Best Buy
Pros: It's a DEI product and it's an earlier version of the Viper 791. Long range.
Cons: Expensive and pagers break easily (went through 7)
Final verdict: I'd recommend this to anyone (in viper trim now cause the clifford products have been discontinued) who wants peace and mind for their property. The super long range is awesome and your not jumping up to check if your car is the one out there gettin jacked, just look at the pager and have a seat....
