V6 alternator on a v4?

Well I guess I'm end up getting a high output alternator for v4
Since it sounds I'd be spending more with modifications jus to make a v6 one fit
But does any one know why the v6 ones are cheaper?
Does it have to so with demand

Could be many reasons. Probably the demand for i4 alt. is higher.

Please don't call the 4cyl. engines V4. it's Inline 4 cylinder. AkA i4.
