awesome...i did it with a computer light switch i had sitting around...worked like a charm. thanks for the steps though! i think i might pick up one of the speaker harnesses just to make it a permanent/professional looking "tool" haha

i did this and im so glad i did
instead of spending way too much at the dealer i payed $3

what makes it come on in the first place? is it like a maintenence kind of thing again, or when something considerably serious is going on. cuz for me, the light came on after i had removed the front bumper to change my headlight bulb.

I did this, the light blinked twice indicating i resetted it, but the light stays on!?:thinking: do I have a serious problem?

Great guide. I ended up just using a paperclip, but the drawing on the first post is better than any other pics I could find. Turns out I'd been trying to short circuit the wrong yellow connector...fyi, for those who are going to try this, it's the smaller of the two - it's pretty clear in the above pic.

Reset the SRS light, turned off car, turned back on - no light. :thumbsup:
