DIY SCS Service Connector and SRS Reset

thanks. I tried being smart by using switches to do it. I just used a paper clip and it worked!

Yeah I just used a wire and stuck it in one end of the plug, and stuck it in and pulled it out of the other. Worked first try
it means something is really wrong. you'll need to have it checked out.
Also make sure that your timing with the reset was accurate, I had to re-do mine probably more then a dozen times because I had problems getting both ends of the paperclip in the connector at the same time which is why it took me so long to reset it.

I just used two speaker wires.
That way you can have them as long as you want.
Mine were a good length that I was sitting in the seat while I was resetting it
