18x10.5" +20 for the rears? I need to make them work without looking mexiflush. The next size down is 9" but the lip is to small for the rears imho, I'm gona run them in the front. The 10.5s will have a 4.25" lip. I need to get these to work haha. The 11s have a 5.25 lip but I know i can't go 11.

I've gone through most of the suspension review thread and the wheel fitment thread. i would like your guys' words of wisdom.

if i were to keep my tein basics, which drops me 3" in the front and about 2.8" in the rear, and i purchased the ES 2.2.0 VarrsToen 17x9 +12 .. should i roll?

With your basic, you're car isn't gonna be low enough to camber out in order to fit 17x9+12. But yes, you should roll

What Mike said.

If you wanna run those kind of specs, you'll need to swap your Basics with other coilovers that give more drop like F2, KSport, Megan, etc.

Pretty aggressive specs. You need serious fender work along with lots of camber. Those stick out 5mm more than my wheels if I calculated correctly in my head.

My opinion: Don't do it unless you're dumped with like -3.5* camber at the very least.

According to my calculations, 18x10.5 +20 will give you 11mm more poke than 18x10 +25. Look at my pics, Beedizzle, Blackv6death (Bill), and the guy in the white sedan that just recently got featured on Stance:Nation. All rocking 18x10 +20 (Perfect poke imo). I'm not saying don't do it, I'm just saying its gonna be mexicanflush

I'm looking at the TSW Snetterton. 18x9.5+20. I really wanted at least 10" but this will do

I don't know what an offset is but i have an idea. What if I got a 10.5 with a higher offset like a +27

Edit: I know what offset is now, thanks YouTube. But would a 10.5" with a higher offset do the trick?

No you can't go higher. My wheels are 18x10 +35 and they scraped my coilovers any time I turned too hard or hit a weird angle. Then I put a 10 mm spacer and it was good. 10.5 with that +20 was 11mm more poke and 1 mm less clearance inside (according to my offset calculator) so you don't really have much room to go in because your wheel is already very close to your coilover.
