I'm a bit of a fan of the Kouki Tail Lamps too..... but I think it's because they're on this car:

That was actually the car that made me want an S13 hatch, before I could even drive a car. Originally I wanted a 240 but my mom thought they were old and thus probably not safe. We looked around, thought an IS300 would be sick, but didn't end up getting one that we saw that was perfect... And I ended up with an LX Accord lol.

I'm kind of glad I didn't get an S13 though because I've read online that a lot of people have stuff breaking on them now, and I probably would have crashed it already by trying to drift back in the day.

S13 is the chassis code for the 89-94 240sx (180sx (hatch) and Silvia (coupe) in Japan, 200sx in Australia). Similar to Honda's CG5, CG3, etc. (DC2, DC5, EP, EK, etc...).

S10 - 76-79, Silvia (Japan) and 200sx (US)
S11 - 1980 only, Nissan's only attempt at a wankel-rotary powered car. Never in production, and only 4 prototypes known to exist.
S12 - 84-88 200sx (US), otherwise the Silvia and Gazelle.
S13 - 89-94 240sx (US), 200sx (SR20DET Australia), 180sx (CA18DET) and Silvia in Japan.
S14a - 95-96 same as above, but no more 180sx. Just 240sx, 200sx, and Silvia.
S14b - 97-98, same, but had updated headlights, taillights, and body kit. US KA24DE, everywhere else SR20DET.
S15 - 99-02. Everywhere except the US. SR20DET and 6 speed.

Here's the Z's:
S30 - 240Z, etc...
Z31 - 300zx 84-89
Z32 - 300zx 90-96 (US) and 90-99 (Japan).
Z33 - 350z 2002-2008.5
Z34 - 370Z 2008.5 - present

hope that helps explain things.

Skylines are R chassis. (R31, R32, R33, etc..). The "BNR33 or BCNR33" etc. explains whether or not is a 2 door, 4 door, and GT-R or not.

yea ... i'm trying to juggle both projects at once ... i went to the junk yard and picked up a wingless hatch for the 240 ... tomorrow i'll be picking up an exhaust w/ b-pipe and the two matching wheels [rear wheels in pictures] ... i'm also looking for a nice header, hi-flo cat, and 3" cat-back exhaust for the accord ... i was curious as to see where my car is right now [performance wise] so i messed around on the freeway with my friends s13 [sr plus bolt-ons, pushing about 12-14psi] ... he pulled me by 3 cars and stayed there ... with that said hopefully opening up the exhaust will help pick up my top end

just do some all around long needed maintenance for now ... i put on the wingless hatch today and put some tires on the wheels so they're matching now ... hopefully i'm able to pick up the front end parts this saturday that i was supposed to get last week ... that will take care of the exterior [besides paint] ... the interior still needs alot of love lol
