As difficult, time consuming, and painful as "replacing part by part with new" sounds-- I know it's going to be awesome. Are you going to keep this color or go with something new?

I really like the front end of this car. This car has cleaned up nicely for being 20+ years old, I am excited to see where it goes. What trim level is it (GL, GLI, VR6)? Or did VW have trims back then?

I love the squarer body styles, from the late 80's to late 90's, I would buy one, if they weren't so damn old hahaha

Looks really great thought Matt, cleaning up nicely.

^I love boxy euro cars too, the only thing I hate about them is the dash. Not a bright spot for 80's cars in general, lol.

For example, the e30 is awesome. But the interior is just so bad.

The factory Recaro interior on this thing isn't bad though, considering.
