Re: RR's 3.2L '99 EX-L Coupe 6MT

^There is some discrepancy about that, I forget as I read up on it a long time ago, but it was either made for the auto J32's only or something, since they had the VSA. Either way it is advertised incorrectly most places...because it'll say the same part number fits Accord/CL/TL, but the J32 TB is bigger than the J30 TB. When I had the 3.0 the V2 fit fine...but the same V2/part no. doesn't fit the 3.2. Anyway you can use one but you need a 3" -> 2.5" coupler.

I can confirm this, as I have to use a coupler reducer for the J35 TB to mount my AEM 2-piece CAI.

Ah that's what I thought. Was hoping I was wrong. My ebay intake sounds like **** and I was hoping to grab something better.

^Isn't there a pic of your J32 w/a V2 in your MR thread though?

Yes but at that time I had a j30 tb on as my j32 tb was at max bore. When I swapped throttle body's I changed the intake as it seemed counter productive to have a smaller intake.

That's what I thought too, but the difference is negligible and I love the V2 roar lol. I sold my V2 before I swapped because I thought I'd never use one again. Then I found another one for cheap recently.

What adhesive did you use for your ait spoiler?

I used 3M adhesive promoter and their best double sided tape. Not sure what it was, my body guy had it. I think it was the stuff that's gray on both sides though.

The strongest adhesive you can use is BMW's Betalink, but it's pretty permanent so if you ever wanted to take off the roof spoiler it'd come off in busted pieces lol.

It’s BACK! Better than new and stronger as well.

The shop has this hot staple gun that shoots a staple into the piece and melts it in. Then the edges get grinded off. Pretty awesome tool.

He also applied several mils of liner on the bottom that not only keep the paint from getting scratched, but also adds strength. It’s the same stuff that came factory on rocker panels on cars like the 300ZX.

It gets painted today. :)

Liking that attention to detail.

The bottom product, how will that work when it's painted over?
