I am sure this has been covered somewhere, just can't seem to find the right info!

I'm trying to run a P28 but the idle surging is unbearable!

The old ecu runs the car fine but rev limited at 5k.
So its not any vacuum leakage or something like that.

Do I need to just rewire a 2 pin IAC plug and off we go or is there more to it?

what are your codes w/ old and new ecu?

I know for sure the iac plug needs to be changed, just no clear guide on how.
I went and grabbed a 2 pin plug but realized there is no way it's going to fit in the 3 pin socket...

I had the same thing happen after my h23a swap. Just need to bleed out any air pockets in your coolant lines. Coolant runs through the iac and if it isn't a constant flow it will cause idle surge.

Good to know. I've got an idle problem after topping off low coolant. I'll have to look into this.
