I am have doubts weather I should use the 32 engine harness or just reuse the 30 any input?

Which ECU are you running? If you’re using the J32 ECU I’d use the harness that came with the motor. If you’re keeping the J30 ECU you may still be able to use the J32 harness but there might be a little wiring involved. Not sure about using the J30 harness with the J32…but either way you'll probably need Rich's module.

While I agree that the extra few bucks for the A2 would've been more than worth it, it's still going to show nice gains.

There were two different head configurations for the j32a1's, and Matt got the second generation, which has 35mm intake valves, which are only 1mm smaller than the A2's.

Since it looks like he is swapping the IM/runners/throttle body from the A2, all that will be left on the A1 that is different from the A2 is the lower CR pistons and the 1mm difference in intake valves. It'll still be a nice upgrade from the j30.

Anything is a nice upgrade from the stock J30.

The addition of a 6spd alone to the J30 is almost a good enough upgrade.

Nice work with the polishing, will there be other polished parts as well?

Any P2R goodies being added?

@moneypit- is the second gen of j32a1 the 00-01 version from the 2g tl/cl?

Is this a 6 speed swap too or just a motor swap?

^ Yes, gen 1 was pre-2k, gen 2 was post-2k

From what I heard, Matt is keeping his 4at for now.
