Hopefully you have it all figured out, but here's some info regardless.....
The rear balance shaft has an alignment plug at the back of the motor near the oil pressure sensor. Pull the plug (bolt) and shove (lightly) a screwdriver in the hole. Spin the balance shaft until the scredriver slides into the balance shaft and locks it in place. That's how it is supposed to sit.
As far as the front, the pully on the end of the balance shaft has a marking on it. Align that mark with the mark on the blocks end cover.
