I was just about to say, lexan won't hold up very long. And IDK if this matters or not but my fogs are curved. Not sure I can just run out and replace it with flat glass.

Do they not make clear silicone or why did you use black?

Good DIY though.

IDK, I used Lexan on my fog for 2 years now. Never had a problem with bubbling or anything. I know that regular plexiglass definitely cannot hold up to the heat and that is why I went with Lexan.

I went to autozone and asked the guy work there which one is the best silicone to to use for fog and headlights, he said black is the best one.

Because everyone from autozone is a genius...

I'm with Mikey, the clear more than likely works just the same.
