Still need to copy all my previous progress over to this thread, but in the mean time here's something I recently bought for the crx. EDM taillights :) still need to find my keys, hoping they're either in my brother's car or my mom's house. Going to be really pissed if I need to get new locks and keys.

Also, I'm considering parting out the d15 mini me to get more money for a nice b series. Didn't make my final decision yet though

D15 has a nice rod/stroke ratio (1.59:1, IIRC), and why have VTEC when you don't need mpg

why even bother with more rotating mass, or more weight. I think I found 272/272 cams (regrinds) for ~$100, on my n/a kick for auto-x... Man they love boost tho!

But alas, that car got stolen, which I found the guy (finally! after a lil over 5 yrs?!) a couple days ago, on facebook! He kicked my *** unconscious, Mathew Franks of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I'll start a new thread.

Cause vtec is always fun to have even though you don't need it! I'm wanting to do an all motor setup and limit the car to 170 to 180 whp. Long term plan is using it for nasa time trials and maybe ptc racing if I ever get a license ( a license is $8k though!!!).

If you can find cams where the lower vtec (dohc) lobes are ground for tq, not mpg, that might be ok. most they leave stock. sohc are 3v, not 4v, before vtec. except whatever jdm that thing is with the 3-stage vtec d-series.

homemadeturbo.com had some interesting (non-turbo) build threads about building to the absolute limits for STOCK for racing rules. like 160whp d16a6.

stock, like oem, not stock car like nascar.

91 Si, Suspension Tech 2.5" Springs, IHE, short shifter, first gear was almost too short!

the stolen one! i had this for like 7 years, It had the 2.5" springs that the crx got when it got the COs, then those went on the fodo when the (useless) chassis was recovered. Etc... I only bought the fodo to get a decent ride to fl to gtfo.



my fodo, autox b, replacement for the stolen one, full es, coilovers, auto->5spd swap, custom cluster, weight red, lsd, dpfi->mpfi, IHE, missing stuff?

EDIT: i am...i had more 4gs, including one i painted...2-colors...nicely 8) and the mpfi swap was mandatory, AS WELL AS DOING IT RIGHT!!!

Finally found my key this morning!!! I was planning on seeing if the dealership could make a copy using the vin, then happened to find it at my mom's house. Have absolutely no idea how it got there, considering it's 60 miles away and I could've sworn I never took it there. But I can at least put the taillights on now and continue to try figuring out that wiring nightmare the previous owner left me with

Looking good, and too bad you aren't closer, my brother has a complete CRX that needs TLC for sale in Clarksville, TN. If you are looking for an engine, and don't mind driving to get it, keep an eye out in El Paso, TX. That place is a huge Honda nation in it's own right :beer:
