Picked this up July 28th, 2014 for a project car with my dad. Transmission was bad in it so we talked the guy down and $400 later it belonged to us. We're going to be putting a new motor and tranny in it within next week or two.

As of right now it is completely stock. LX model with automatic transmission. We're going to swap it to a manual because automatic Hondas just feel so sluggish.Sorry if this isn't following the format I'm just trying to let you guys know the story since as of right now there's nothing interesting about it.

Future plans
- coilovers
- lip kit
- clear corners
- clear bumper turn signals
- lip kit (not sure what kind yet)
- grille (I like the Aztec or mugen but they're rare)
- 17 or 18 inch wheels. Something that will sit flush
- black housed depot lights. I have two pairs of these
- convert it to a manual transmission
- h22 swap

Lots of potential, seen many sweet looking CD wagons done up right. Cool project.

If you go on torontoaccords.com, there is a local guy parting out his CD sedan.

You may find some of those rare parts (and others) that you are looking for.

His username is Mugen_Accord88(Jason).

Check the Classifieds for his F/S thread.

Thanks for that! I just checked it out and wow does he have a lot of carbon fiber parts. He had a mugen grille but I don't think carbon fiber is the look I'm wanting. I might change my might depending on if I can find another or something better

Np.

I was never really a CD fan, but I can appreciate when one is done right.

All the best with your project.

I'm not a huge fan either. Especially when I compare it to the 6th gen. The interior of the CD is so bad compared to ours, but I can't get a 6th gen wagon here in the states :(

Thanks for the kind words.

-To everyone else reading this- I'm so glad that I have a forum like 6ga to use. Finding other forums for this wagon is terrible. I've checked places like accordwagons, cdaccord, 5thgenaccord and They all suck, the layout sucks, the information sucks.

I think the laws are pretty similar betwen here and the US, this year is the year that you are able to import the Accord Wagon, albeit, the older ones(98-99'), I believe.

It will be alot cheaper than to try and get an R34 over here.

Local guy had one at a meet a couple weeks ago....$60K to get it here.

Not sure if CD5Tuner or AccordWagonClub would be of any more help.

Re: Jordan_H's 96 Accord Wagon (56k)

I used to have the 5th gen '94 Accord wagon (chassis code is actually CE1).

The 5th gen wagon was the pioneer of the wagon boom in Japan. The fact that this model was produced over here in USA, having the 5 gen wagon in Japan was more like getting an imported car over there. Iirc, the cashmere metallic paint (that granny gold) was the only 5gen wagon available as the left-side driver seat in Japan (the real USDM ver.). Anyways..

I focused on modding mainly the sound system, and the car was one sweet music box. You can blast the bass with just a single 12" subwoofer; The advantage of having an open-trunk hatch back with 4 door speakers. Hell, you can even have an air ride on the Accord w/ still enough cargo space!

Anyways, this really brings back my old memories, and I'm glad you're in the game! Too bad I don have any pics due to myself being in your age 15+ years ago lol.

Btw, when you look for those corner lenses, I'd recommend you get the "euro clear lenses", as they're really 'crystal clear' w/o the white reflectors. (I highly doubt that you'll get pulled over b/c you don't have the reflectors that's supposed to be amber.)

I've got a friend with a CD coupe on air, they can look good. Someone else has a slammed CD wagon around here, have to find a picture of that though.
