Snapped Strut Pinch Bolt

Not the way to start off a strut install. Guess I should spend some time away from the gym for awhile. Anyone have a passenger strut fork?

You can fix it, drill it out, go through bolt with nut, not oem fork threads. Its a $5 part but a 5min job.

Take the whole thing off. It happened to me and I gripped what was left with vice grips, turned it all the way out and bought a new bolt

Happened to me too. I did drill it out. Took me about 20min since I drilled it out with it on the car.

Not to thead jack but my strut fork itself is stripped. I bought a new oem pinch bolt for it but it still wudnt tighten.

Add nut w/ longer bolt, or car-part.com/junk yard
