99 to 01 motor swap

Hi there my fellow 6th gen owners I need urgent help.
I just recently swapped my 99 motornand trans for
One off a 02. Now my problem is that one engine use
A distributer and the other one has coil packs. I've swapped
Out everything including the harness and ecu. After all that it won't start at all I checked one of the coil packs and I'm not reciveing any spark. Am I missing anything here?
I'm down a car so I really need this up and running please share anything that could help I'd really appreciate it. Is a v6 auto by the way

Lets start with the basics for trouble shooting

FIRST OFF do you have the key for the ECU? Immo green key flashing on cluster?
If you do make, a normal copy of your original 99 key and place the 01 key next to the key cylinder so it can read the immo code.

Second check fuses
Drivers fuse box # 11

Under the hood fuse number 46
Drivers fuse box fuses # 1 and 13

Ok correct me if im wrong but I thought a j30s have coil packs

was it i4 at first
if so then check all your grounds
and then check all connections
when I do engine swaps most of the time its a connection of some sort
ground,power,sensor anything not there but normally a ground
