2002 honda accord V6

Started my with the remote start then put the key in but didn't turn the key all the way then stepped on the brake and the car shut off, but then I tried to start it but it again won't turn on. The electronic components turn on but no clicking sound from the dash. What could be the problem?

You started it with your remote start. When you push the brake the car should turn off. Leaving you to turn it on with your key.

So starting it normally does not work?
Have you tried starting it with the remote start again?

My money is on some sort of failure in the wiring for the remote start or the unit itself.

Yeah I tried both with remote start and the normal way. In the past when my battery went when I tried to start the car I would get that stutter clicking like it was trying to start, but now I only get 1 click coming the dash and thats it.

You have a bad connection somewhere or a bad battery. Have you checked the voltage and fuses?

It's weird that it won't start normally. Because at work I've never encountered an issue like this with the remote start. However, I wouldn't rule it out.
