i did a 16flat @ 92mph with my stock F23A1, manual trans, air filter only... that's two weeks before my H22 swap..
It seems a little peculiar that you trapped 1 mph higher than me with a stock manual when I had i/h/e and a 55 shot on my auto:confused: Is the gearing really that horrible on the auto?

15.6 @ 91mph

i don't know what's the problem. But if you remember my friend witn a 98 V6 with 3.5 block woth 3.0 head, he ran a 14.9 @ 99-100mph, with only mod the 3.5 block and AEM CAI.

How's your 60's ?

because it all depend on your start time. A gain of 0.1 sec in the 60 feet cause a 0.25 time gain at the E/T. I remember by best run with my F23... it was on June 27th 2004, my birthday. The launch was perfect.. almost no tire spinning, dropping clutch at 4000rpm.. power shifting on all gears.. and a reaction time of 0.060. When i trapped, i known that this run was very good..

15.6 @ 91mph

The gearing on an auto is much different than a manual.
For instance, the auto will shift at 6,250RPM's while the manual can go to 6,800RPM's then shift.
That extra 500RPM's makes a difference when VTEC is engaged.

That just seems much faster than any other unmodded f23 that I've heard of, auto or manual. I cut a 2.387 60ft on my fastest run. What was yours when you trapped 92? I don't see how you trapped that high of an mph with a stock f23, regardless of your e/t. It just does not seem add up. Also, reaction time doesn't change your e/t.

tomorrow i'll check to find this time slip, i have it but where.. if my memory is good, my 60ft was in 2.150..or something like this.. On this run, i kept the gas to the floor during passing gears.. that help a lot too.

I have 17inch wheels in the rear and 225/60/15 Yokohama A509 in front..

The funny part is i trapped 92mph with my F23 and 95-96mph with my H22 but 1 second faster on E/T.

If you cut a 2.1 60 ft and trapped 92 mph, you would have gone been quicker than a 16 flat. I bet you trapped 82, not 92.
