engine maintainance light on

how do u reset this light?

i plug out the battery and plug it on after few minutes but don't work?

i hold to the knob for the speedometer but nothing is happening???

shouldn't it reset it self once its press long enough???

btw, its for the 6thgen v6,

your key should be on the on position i think hold it for a couple secs dont remember, than turn the key again.

turn key to first click then hold the button next to your odometer for 10 secs. if this doesn't work then hold button for 10 secs then turn key to first click and hold another 10 secs. sorri i don't remember clearly haha.

1) hold the trip reset button down as you turn the car on (BUT DO NOT START THE CAR)
2) hold the reset button for 10 seconds, or until the light goes out
3) when it goes out, release the button, turn the car of, the start the car and you're all set

hahahha... thxz guys, its urgent to me, cuz i did it one both 8.5gen, and it works, but on my 6thgen don't work, i dunno y... but I'll try again,

just did the oil change on all 3 cars... sooo i was a bit frustraited,

thanks, guys for answering my noobness... :slap:
