Wiring Harnesses

Hokay sooo... I keep hearing about how people make wiring harnesses for all sorts of things i.e. engines, headlights, etc. But my question isn't how to make these but where do you get the various plugs and stuff. For example when I tried to fix one of my foglights I tried to rewire the h11 plug it had and found the wires encased in glue in the back of the plug. Of course that one was useless but what about other kinds of plugs? Basically im asking can you buy those kinds of plugs/recepticles on the interwebz somewhere.

There are a lot of places to get connectors.
