V6 evo2 optional muffler?

I looked that up, and it's considerably cheaper than the 98 accord 4cyl coupe catback that is on the same site. That one is about $530 shipped and this one is about $405 shipped. What does it mean by an optional muffler? Can I just get one muffler and put it onto my 4cyl coupe accord?

i think it means that if you buy cat-back system, it comes only with one muffler. and 2nd one is optional.

about half way down on that page it reads "This exhaust will NOT work by itself. It requires GReddy exhaust system #10156701 inorder to have a complete Dual Exhaust" this is an optional add on for the v6 if they dont want to just have a single greddy muffler. i believe all that is included in this kit is a y-pipe and another muffler, but im not 100% positive since i have never seen a evo 2 in person on a v6

yea, it's just a muffler.

WHen you buy the EVO 1, or EVO 2, it come standard for the i4 (single exhaust). So when you purchase the optional muffler, you get a seperate Y Pipe which attaches to the resonator, and allows you to hook up your second muffler.

So for the i4, u get the whole cat back system.
The optional is an extra muffler + extension (Y-pipe)

Damn, so it's like $800 for a stock style dual exhaust. Looks like I'll be making my own.
