it wont move back or foward i need this fixed asap to put my son in the back seat without walking in the street most of time any tips ?

I think there is a cable that runs from the rail with the adjustment handle to the other rail see if it broke loose

Save the manuals
Quick "fix" is unbolt the seat, there are four 14mm bolts. Might be easier to see what's going on with the mechanism as well if it's out of the car.
