98 accord 4cyl tune up issues

I just started doin some maintenance on the coupe. Oil change, air filter, etc. When i went to attack the spark plug wires the top came off leaving the boot still in the sleeve.

Seen on youtube that the valve cover off to remove and in the process 2 more wires broke off the same way. How the hell do i get these suckers off before i push this thing into traffic

The rubber grommit at the bottom of the wire came off or more than that? Pictures appreciated.
