DIY SCS Service Connector and SRS Reset

did the srs light reset. it worked like a charm. but when i was driving on the highway today it went back on. any ideas?

u gotta do it again!!!hahahahahaha
check your seatbelts and the seats in general....redo the whole srs reset, if it doesn't work just pull out the bulb from the cluster...

lmao pull out the bulb . when i get into an accident and my airbags dont deploy. ill be thanking you .

Try this

Reset the SRS again
Then Drive around without the Seatbelt on.
Then put the seatbelt on see of the SRlight comes on.
If it only comes on after you click the seatbelt, then there's a problem with that sensor.
Seatbelts have a lifetime warranty.
However the dealer will tell you they have to do an evaluation of the system and charge you $75 for that.
That's why I refuse to have mine done

good sh!t black night.

i did what you said, i reset the srs drove the car without the seatbelts and was fine until i clicked the seatbelt in and poof it went on again

I pmed drift over on everything-honda.com and he said if your srs light is on your airbags will NOT DEPLOY. just a warning for those of you driving around with your srs light on.

Then I guess I should spend the money for the dealers evaluation cost and have that sensor taken care of.
It sucks though. If the seatbelts have a lifetime warranty, the warranty should cover evaluations also
