i uses my eyes. i speed all the time but have never gotten a ticket. i always see the cops before i get close enough for them to radar me.

i used to use one and use to still get tickets, now i dont use one and i dont really get any tickets. i know that sounds weird, but thats what happened. I had a cobra and it got really annoying and wouldnt stick to my windshield anymore so i jus didnt use it anymore. I dont need one anyways. I almost always drive spirited but I jus dont feel the need for a radar anymore.

ive never had one. ive only gotten 1 ticket in 7 years of driving. a radar detector wouldnt have helped me there either cause it was a speed trap in fl using a laser gun

never had one yet... had my license since 00 and still haven't gotten a ticket yet. When Im on the highway i usually go 75-80 (which everyone pretty much does in jersey/pa). And I don't need one when Im local in neighbor hoods since I obey the 25 and 35 limits in case some kids run out in front of me or something like that.... plus my military id does help sometimes

if you can see the cop, odds are theyve already got you. either your cops just dont give a ****, or they dont run the radar all the time.

Yeah I have an Escort 8500, in my opinion I think its one of the best out there. The new ones Escort has put out all have gps and stuff so u can mark false alarms so they dont always go off, but running them side by side with the 8500 neither them or the valentine have the range of the 8500

You both are kidding yourselves. His radar can see a lot farther than your eyes.
I have a Escort 8500 x50. Best detector, hands down. Anyone with a Cobra who THINKS they're protected, think again. The range on a Cobra is absolutely terrible. Period.
