Radar Detectors - Do you use?

reviving this lol.

i use a beltronics v940. its saved me soo many times. its got a real nice range but i am looking to upgrade to a valentine one soon. i just want to sell my beltronics one but seems like few people use detectors on here. for me its a must because anyone familiar with rt42 in south jersey knows there are always a million troopers on there at all times with their crappy xband lol.

I have the Beltronics 995 and love it. saved me at least 5-6 times. really helpful when you on the highway. Got my first one in high school which was a cheap cobra and now i dont go anywhere without it.

When I first was looking for a radar, it came down to the v1 or the escort 9500i. I decided on the 9500i and then a week later, my friend got the v1....im glad the i got 9500i. the v1 seems so out-dated. Yea, the programming is decent, but it doesn't offer the other stuff that the 9500i has such as location marker, etc.

yeah the location marker and that stuff just seems like things i dont need. i slow down and stay alert for false alarms anyway and dont want to rule out any threats

I've got a Cobra 9340. It does a good job. I used to have a nice Beltronics until it got stolen.
