OP, you can also try A'PEXi WS1 or WS2 mufflers, those, are just as good as, if not better than Magnaflow. They aren't too expensive either if you find the right place. Shop around.

Hi all. I purchased a 02 2dr v6, all stock. Looking to do some simple mods within my budget. First mod, looking to weld these exhaust mufflers. Anybody have experience with them? Suggestions?

my 1st muffler was actually a ebay one. i bought it for 40$. worked fine. nice deep tone. not raspy or anything didnt sound ricey at all. the only problem was it had to be welded instead of a direct bolt on. i liked it. but now upgraded to apexi ws1 exhaust. looks nicer and sounds better
