I had 215/45 on my 9 and it was fine.

215/40 is too short of a tire IMO. You'll need to lower the car more to fill in the wheel gap too.

But if your looking for the really stretched looked, go for 215/40.

Oh but above you said 215/45 on a 9.5". I have 215/45 on 9" and I think it's fine too but I have no idea how much more that extra .5 inch would stretch the 215's. That's what I meant. Probably not that much more huh?

what is a really stretched to you? and how you guys think it will look dont think it will look wider in the front and not as wide in the rear?

i want a stretch like this:

What kinda wheels and specs are you looking at? And what are you lowered on and how much of a drop?

Think of getting fn01-rc wheel specs 17x8 offset 38 with 23f 23.5 rear will it fit right

That's easy. It'll tuck. At that height.. you could fit 17x9 easy too.

17x8 +35 should be fine, but 215's are going to be pretty well stretched on a 8.5" wheels. Unless thats the look you're going for, I would go with a 225 series tire. I've got 225's on my 8" wheels and they're a little stretched......

Don't know how well G-Force's usually stretch but 17x8.5 should be a mild stretch and a +30 (so it won't rub the strut) would be nice.

I have Falken FK452's stretched on 9's and there's barely any stretch. So yeah, it depends on the brand/model of the tire. Different tires result in different amounts of stretch.

You should be fine, regardless, whether you take ^ JMiller's advice or mine.

well if i go 17 x 8 they only offer +35 offset...is 8.5 gonna rub the strut isnt that kinda wide for an accord? will 8.5 effect my ride/comfort? im i gonna need a rear camber kit?

8.5 will be fine.. it's usually the offset that makes the difference in whether or not you rub the strut. A +35 might rub the strut but +30 will be good. And no.. it's not too wide for an Accord sedan.

You'll need to just do a basic fender roll on all 4 corners, relocate bumper tab, dropped about 3" (assuming you have coilovers), and run natural camber. No need for a camber kit.

Based on my experience, it'll still feel like you're on 17's, so ride/comfort won't be sacrificed whether you go with an 8.5" width or 7". But with tire stretched and camber, maybe you'll get a bit more "handling" out of it.
