Just a short DIY on how to wire your factory fog lights to come on with your parking lights. (warning they will not shut off with your high beams)
after removing the switch you should have the plug that looks like this

next cut the blue wire and splice a jumper wire onto the part that comes out of the plug like this.

Tape the other end of the blue wire that comes out of the harness so it wont ground out on anything.

gently pry the wire holder on the clip open and insert the jumper wire into the port with the red and black with one silver dot wire seen here
(it should be the one directly next to the center wire 4th port from the left in the pic)

next close up the plug clip making sure it holds the jumper wire in place, plug in your switch and try it out.

with this method, they still work the same, except now you can run them without the headlights, and with High Beams, and the switch works just like it did.

Only difference is the use without headlights, and with High beam, correct?

I believe so. There is a similar trick for DA tegs, where you splice into the switched 12v for the defrost switch. I believe that by running the jumper wire, the fogs should be able to come on by themselves, with the regular headlights, and with high beams, and they should turn off when the ignition is turned off.

the thick red wire is simply a jumper wire from the blue to the red/black. you could simply cut the blue wire, and then use a tap in to connect the blue into the red/black

+1

me either could we see some full shots of before and after and a better guide to like what the wires really connect to. One of them (RED) just goes off into another tube.
