Your short game is much more important. That's where you're gonna lose.

I need to get a new putter as well. I really like the feel of the Odyssey White Ice DART. Has anyone else bought it? It's pricey but.... It could be worth it haha

Odyssey is the best putters. My brother has a Taylor crescent and my dad uses a Ping blade. I don't like the blade as much, but I guess I just don't like blades. It always feels like there's no weight behind it and the ball just shanks off with no control or guidance. If that makes sense haha although it seems like almost everything with golf is personal preference.

Re: Official Golf Thread

I know what you mean bu the lack weight behind the blades. Thats kind of what my problem is. Too much weight. Im sure theres a good putter out there for me. Just havent found it yet.

Re: Official Golf Thread

I'm looking forward to getting out now that the weather is breaking here and there. I played for school from 6th-12th grade, but haven't been able to get out as much in college.

Re: Official Golf Thread

I used to play all the time but pretty much gave it up once I went to college. I don't have a handicap but I usually shoot high 70s/low80s. Sometimes I kinda miss it, but after working at a golf course in High School it is hard to pay now haha. I have two sets, Ping I3 that I love, and then a set of Mizuno's that I rarely use. I don't have any woods anymore. I need to get atleast a driver but since I do not play much I find it hard to justify spending the money.

That's what I shoot as well. Only more constantly in the low to mid 80's depending how many times I've played the course.

And working at a golf course I play free at any course in Montgomery county, which is 9 pretty nice course

haha well I played allll the time (before I could drive in the summer I would be at the golf course 8 hours a day) and had weekly lessons. Both of the previous reasons are why I do not play anymore. I was majorly burned out since I did not play for fun, but for the tournaments and school.

Re: Official Golf Thread

When i shoot low 80's i weep from joy. Lol. I usually hit 90's but the past two times i played at a course ive never played it wasnt even close to bogey golf. 90's is pretty common for me.
