What do you mean by confidence?
How hard are they? harder than valve adjustment? blackhousing?

What would you recommend? What is cheaper yet good light output etc.

Using the MH1s latest gen would be a pretty damn good bang for the buck retrofit.

You need...
projectors, shrouds, bulbs, ballasts, wiring harness(somewhat optional if 35w ballast), bixenon wiring, and of course a pair of headlights. Buy whichever of them you do not have...or just buy the whole kit from TRS.

If you can blackhouse your headlights and close them back up with no condensation leaks, then you can install the h1 projectors yourself.

Ugh. Yes technically. I don't know how well it would work or fitment since the shrouds are already touching the headlight lens.

Lmao @ the tone of disgust in this sentence :lawl: does NotNice still do business on here?

And I don't have to sand or cut anything right?

Buy the projectors from them ($120).
Buy a Xentec HID kit off eBay ($30)
Buy a pair of headlights ($40-$100)

Then either assemble it if you know what you're doing, or NotNice will assembly it for you for a small fee.

Note that while that kit is overpriced. An HID kit from Morimoto is going to be a higher quality than the Xentec ones. You get what you pay for but its definitely marginal.

I've gone through eBay ballasts, and even DDM ballasts and can whole heartedly say the 3Five SS Morimoto ballasts beat them by a long shot.

...to each their own i guess though.

The Xentec do have a 2 or 5 year warranty.

We'll see how long they last. Some have had success but I didn't want to she'll out the price for Morimoto
