Re: replica tail lights

POsted a night pic i will get a better set done tonight

Sorry I read that quickly earlier, and misinterpreted it as post night pics either way, my bad. Your lights look good. Did you use laminex or something different?

No, wire it so the top light is turn signal only.

Btw I did this.

I'm done I'll stop hijacking your thread :)

This is what I was going to say in your thread, but then noticed you had done it, so erased my post. lol

It doesn't really make sense or look right to have amber running lights, along with the red. Plus it might not be legal. Making the turn signals/hazards anything other than red pretty much means you should cover the dim lead to the top section. It's not hard to do. ;)

Otherwise, not bad.

You know thats the only thing i didnt even think about when i made the lights lol yeah its not legal lights in the rear of the car need to be red unless they are sinal oops :lawl: well ill look at that diy then take care

otherwise i think it looks awsome with the amber running at the same time but like you said it makes no sense

Re: replica tail lights

I would suggest pulling the tail light harnesses that connects the bulbs to the body harness and cut the red/black running light wire going to the turn signal bulb, and soldering it to the turn signal wire. That way both the running light filament and the turn filament flash simultaneously when activated.
