i have been having problems with my car it's Honda accord 2000 4dr v6 ex so i had a check engine saying that something evaporates from my gas tank so my mechanic decided to replace my purge valve after he replaced it, it started ticking the old one wasn't ticking so i replaced it again and still it ticks usually it starts to tick after the car is warm. Is it normal? , please help.

You mean the ticking after the car has been shut off? If so, that seems normal to me.

no when the car is running the purge valve sensor it making a ticking or knocking sound.

Ticking and knocking are totally opposite sounds.

I wish my tranny ticked.
