Cost to rebuild transmission?

does anyone know the avg price to rebuildd a transmission?
my transimission is slipppin so bad... it can't grip 1st gear unless on 3xRPM

for my 4cyl... it was around a grand... becasue the shop said it was a more common tranny since honda hasnt made much changes to it since like the 90's.... v6 is gonna be more expensive

I got a quote for almost 2g's. Try draining all your fluid and filling it up with lucas ATF. It will buy you some needed time.....it works. I used it when mine was going out.

i was thinkin about usin lucas ATF also
i got a 4bangger and about 142k on the girl
if its a grand then i prolly can do it :ughrun:

its worse when i stop it jolts 4wards a lil when i stop :ugh:

does this auto tranny problem happen to 98-00 only or it apply to others also? reason i asked is bc i see most people around 98-00 have these problem......any idea?!,?
