need help now!!! oil pan removal

im stuck i removed all the bolts to oil pan and header but the oil pan wont drop down what else must i do???

You can carefully try to pry it down with a pry bar, just take not note to bend the lip. Or you can hit it with a RUBBER hammer around the edges and the tone will start to change as it loosens up.

Its pretty typical to have the honda-bond keep the oil pan in place.

the oil pan is basically off but i cant maneuver it to come out completely is there anyway you can call me and maybe talk me through this ahah damn my bad i know its early

I had that issue with my h22 oil pan. I had to take a die grinder to the sub frame and remove about a cm of material about 6 inches long.

would grinding that frame ruin the stability or support of the car?

it shouldnt as long as u dont take out a huge chunk of metal from it

what i did once was i took my mallet and a peice of wood and got behind the subframe and hit it foward. its pretty much the gasket that is getting it stuck
