Backstory-I used to drive a 05 White CR-V SE and i loved that car and then someone ran a red light and smashed the front passenger corner. My car was eh the kia that hit me was destroyed. But the insurance company decided to total it out ,

We have always been a honda family and my mom got this car about 2 years ago from a gentleman that drove it to work and back and it was like a sunday driver kind of car, He took incredible care of it and it even had the plastic and paper floor mats as well as all the fun bits like moon roof and fogs and mud guards as well as the front bra kit. Very happy with the car!

Fast forward!! I got the car and my parents bought a 2008 CR-V in white just like the old one lol (lower insurance on the oldest car out of the 5 honda's we have ) Any way ill shut up and here are pics!

Finally got some coil overs and the wheels I have wanted for as long as I could remember! Got a few more small things to do still! None of it would have been possible without my incredible friend James! As you all know him as james99 on here! Gonna be a awesome season for sure!

Then the detailer inside me (I do detailing and weekly did my cr-v) came out of hiding again since the accident (I lost the motivation to keep a glass smooth car) And well i brought her into the garage and went to town!
With the paint sealant/polish on her waiting to be buffed off

Ride looks good, just a couple of suggestions,

1. paint match the foglight housings
2. consider a BaysonR v2.0 lip kit instead
3. consider ONLY coilovers or coils + aftermarket shocks to lower

SSM Accord sandwich, FTW! Still don't know why NY state changed the plates to yellow.

Welcome to 6GA and to the SSM club. Car looks super clean. I wish everyone took care of their paint like this instead of blaming the oxidation as "typical Honda paint cancer".

Thanks! I thought about paint matching them, I think ill find a pair of "oem" on the bay and paint those. That way i still have the real oem ones to go back to if i want to! I would have got that lip but the mugen just seems to be not so common on the coupes around here! Next time!
Thanks for the recommendation on lowering! I defiantly dont wanna make it look like a epic fail hahaha

Thank you! I take extreme care of it now just because i dont want it looking like some of the other neglected ones! It was 8hours well spent haha Really appreciate it by the way!

oh and one question haha but noob mode on/what does SSM and CG stand for? I used to know CG but forgot

Thanks man! I loved to look of the hood bra when i see it on the forums and i liked it even better without the side wing pieces.

I think I will, If anything Id replace it as they are beginning to fade and loose the color.

I would get rid of the side moldings tho, they look awkward in that spot

That's a superb detailing job! (Wish you live in my town lol.) Regarding the side moldings, (I'm sure they protect you from all of the door dings but) I'd also consider getting rid of them. If you remove them, in order to maintain your clean exterior, you will have to park you vehicle like RedRyder, uhhkilleez & me, if you know what I mean lol.

Btw, "CG" is the chasis code for our 6gen, and "SSM" is Satin Silver Metalic!
