My remote, which I believe is a Honda factory remote (bought car used), stopped working the other day, and I assumed it was a dying battery, so I removed it (checked it on a battery tester, it is very weak) and swapped in a fresh battery.
Now the remote does not work at all. I was at Advance Auto and tested the remote on their IR signal detector - it sees the remote just fine.
Is there some kind of programming that has to be done on these remotes when changing batteries?
