My CG5 is year 2002, i think the factory alarm does have boot release function, but unfortunately it stopped working, so i replaced an aftermarket alarm, so i wonder which wire is for boot release.

That's pretty much it. My car has a light, so there's also a switch. switch is small, grounds it. solenoid is bigger, opens the trunk, it gets power.

i know that. i would like to wire it through the driver panel or passenger panel if the car has a factory wire which i can tap in to. like tapping the central lock or unlock wire.

i'm not sure where your factory stuff is on your rhd model, but i'd probly tap at where the factory keyless unit is, it's an easy spot. Most people use a scotch-lock at the factory connector and an ext wire with a heat-shrink crimp to the aftermarket alarm.

I have checked the manual, and it says the wire is behind driver's kick panel, where exactly is that going to be? I have looked through everywhere at driver side lower dash, but i still can't find it....! Please help
